Jordanian Al-Awn Association for Sustainable Community Development is proud to be an active partner in the ENHANCE Project, an international initiative funded by the European Union and dedicated to empowering girls and young women socially and economically.

The project is implemented through a strong partnership that brings together organizations from different countries, including RJ4ALL (Cyprus), FRAMEWORK (Italy), EUNOIA (North Macedonia), SPAED (Egypt), Al Balwanah Organization (Jordan), and ATIG (Morocco). This diverse collaboration reflects a shared commitment to addressing gender inequality through community-based and inclusive approaches.

The official launch meeting of the ENHANCE Project took place on January 31, 2025, in Cyprus, with the participation of representatives from all partner organizations. Al-Oun Society was represented by Mrs. Tharwat Al-Rousan, Mrs. Rawan Abdul Rahim, and Mrs. Hala Al-Rousan, who contributed to discussions on project objectives, implementation strategies, and joint coordination mechanisms.

As part of the project’s capacity-building activities, Al-Oun Society also participated in the first Project Management and Sustainability Camp, held in Turin, Italy, on May 22–23, 2025, organized by FRAMEWORK. The camp provided in-depth training on project planning, management, and sustainability, strengthening the team’s ability to deliver long-term impact.

In addition, Al-Awn Association proudly took part in the third ENHANCE training camp, hosted in Tiznit, Morocco, alongside partners from across the region. Representing the association were Project Manager Hala Al-Rousan, Financial Officer Tharwat Al-Rousan, Communications Officer Rawan Abdel Rahim, and volunteer Jehan Al-Rousan. The camp offered a valuable space for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and strengthening regional partnerships.

Through the ENHANCE Project, Al-Oun Society continues its mission to promote equality, inclusion, and sustainable development, ensuring that girls and young women are equipped with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive.
